Finding new resources is like getting a second opinion and discovering that this new perspective is like a ray of light that not only give you an idea about how to think differently, but also inspires you to create even more ingenious ways of thinking and behaving.
When I recently fractured my ankle, I had a very nice doctor who was quite positive and hopeful, and as his patient, I left feeling the feeling that he had about my ability to recover. However, the second doctor I saw, was a miserable git who spend 10 minutes telling me how badly it was broken, how limited my chances of a full recovery would be, how it would surely re-break when I put my full weight on it and how much pain and discomfort I would have in the weeks to come.
